always learning

The past 4 week I have been taking a class with Jessica Sprague online. It was over digital scrapbooking. It is so much fun to do. I really love all the freebies that are available on the blogsites and web pages. The next class is this summer and I plan to sign up for that one too. I will always love the feel of paper and will never give that up but this is fun for now. I can also share pictures easily with my friends like you! enjoy the new pics

March has become a Lion!

It is so cold here and the poor birds are trying to keep warm and build their nest. Spring break starts soon and we may need snowboots! I try not to complain too much but we need warmth. I started an online class that teaches how to use Photoshop Elements to digital scrapbook. I have had fun this first week and feel successful. Here are my first 2 layouts. Most of the background was ready for us but in the days to come I will learn how to piece it together. I will never leave the physical world of scrapbooking! I love the products too much but new is good and it keeps a person young -at least that is what I've been told : )

My Valentine

Happy Valentins Day to each of you. As you can tell, having Miss Tessa around is so much fun. Momma and Daddy sent these pictures out for her valentines. It says "I choo choo choose you" with a train.

Tessa had a great report from the ortho doctor on Friday. Her hips are just fine, the family doctor had heard some popping at her last check up and thought a specialist should see her. Better to be safe than sorry.

Spring keeps trying to get here but today we are expecting rain and ice!!! yuch!

Changes are good

Times, they are a changin' around here! Branden has a new job!!!! yes it is in his field of study with the city of Wichita. He will be working in the finance dept. as they create next years budget. His job is usually filled by an intern but they hired him straight out. While it isn't my idea of fun he is very excited to be working in the city government. He starts March 3rd.

The weather is also changing on a regular basis. One day it is snowing and turn around and it is nearly 70! Here is Miss Tessa enjoying her first ride outside in the stroller.

SNOW!

We have had some snow this winter but "the" snow came this week. About 6 inches here in Mulvane. NO SCHOOL!!!!!!! Whenever we miss school because of this wet stuff Bev and I do a snowday happy dance. I know it sounds corny but when we get a day away from students it is a happy dance kind of day!

Tessa had her first round of shots on Thurs. OUCH! there were 4 of them!!!!! I know it is best but still .......

I figured out how to upload the pictures into albums, now if I can remember next time! enjoy

Our family news

This month has gone by so fast. Tessa is already 2 months old. Her smile just captures my heart. Of course she can turn on a dime but even then she is so sweet-and loud! Her tummy has bubbles most days but we have a few tricks that usually work now so they don't last as long. Branden and Bev are back to a "normal" schedule at work. Branden has a face to face with a possible job opportunity on next Wednesday. Sarah's back to Emporia and facing a very full schedule but she is up to the task! Both she and Ryan were home this weekend for Tessa's dedication. It was a very sweet service and she just watched the pastor as he spoke about her future! She is soooo smart! I will try to post weekly if not more as time goes. Hope you will come back and check it out!
